Wake Up

I’m no longer on a journey—
I have arrived.
I am the flame,
No longer deprived.

But how do I speak?
How do I share
When all around me
Is smoke and despair?

How do I cry
Without falling apart
When the world plays tricks
On the beating heart?

I hold my chin up,
Though the sky rains down—
Each drop like a stone,
Each smile like a frown.

But no—this was never a lie.
We’re not here to break.
We’re here to fly.

This dream you came from,
This carnival show,
It lifts you up
Then lets you go.

A clown it seems,
But divine in disguise—
A trick to help you
Open your eyes.

And now—
The mouth is open.
The door is wide.
You enter me
And I’m inside.

Waiting to rise,
To light the sky,
To birth new stars
From where shadows lie.

Stay with me—
Don’t close the gate.
Let love pour in
Before it’s too late.

Let me give more:
More light, more flame,
So I can pull you
Back in my name.

But wait—
I’m trembling still.
I want you more.
With all my will.

I long for what
I thought I lost—
Buried in bone,
No matter the cost.

In my body,
In my blood,
In the dirt,
In the flood—
Not just my head,
But every part,
Screams with the ache
Of a forgotten heart.

It was always there,
Right before my eyes—
For lifetimes lost
In clever disguise.

The vessel of One,
Gone from the shore—
Not from love,
But lust for more.

Lust—the thief,
The tempting lie,
That pulls us down
And drains us dry.

It dances far
From what is right,
It feeds on want,
And swallows light.

But breath runs out—
The game must end.
You’ll die,
Then rise,
Then rise again.

And when you do,
You’ll know the score:
To cast off lust
And seek no more.

You’ve reached the peak,
The climb is done.
Now walk the path
Back to
the One.
